outdoor educators for customized outings on wilderness trips, adventure/lodging
packages, group programs, sight seeing, or a step-on guide for motor
coach or van tours. Activities could include cross country skiing, snowshoeing,
birding, hiking, backpacking, kayaking, canoeing, moose tours, sightseeing
and more experiences in the mountains, lakes, and rivers of New Hampshire.
Outdoor ESCAPES takes individuals, couples, families, or small groups (8-10 participants) on adventure packed guided tours. Go sea kayaking along the NH coast, hiking or backpacking in theWhite Mountains (ranging from easy to strenuous), cycling tours around the Lakes Region, river kayaking, and more.
Guide
services include guiding or instruction for enthusiasts that range from
a first timer introductory experience to intermediate, advanced adventure
that could include an overnight, wildlife viewing, info about geology,
history, survival tips, and photography opportunities. Programs might
incorporate for example, nature, survival, archery, or team building.
You can use your own gear or there is rental gear available for all
activities such as cross country ski equipment or snowshoes, backpacks,
sleeping bags, mountain bikes, toddler carrier, canoe/kayaks, bivvy
sacks, etc.
Programs are offered in half day, full day, or multi-day options. A cross country ski ESCAPE is priced $193 for the first person and $23 for each additional participant. Rental equipment for xc skiers ranges from $12-20. This full day outing would have a maximum of 8 people and would be 9 AM - 4 PM.
Additional
options are lodge-to-lodge hiking or paddling trips or inn-to-inn
cross country ski, snowshoe tours, mountain bike tours. A 2-day
Yurt Adventure includes equipment, instruction, lunch, interpretive
talks, wildlife viewing, photography, survival tips, stargazing, and
loding at the yurt. Pricing = $656 for 2 people or $995 for 4 people.
A 3-day yurt experience is $984 for 2 people and $1,488 for 4 people.
Some options include: Inn-to-inn.paddle trips May - Oct; 4-7 day B &
B bicycle tours May - Oct; 6-day backpack expedition hiking or snowshoeing;
3-day lodge-to-lodge xc skiing adventure.
Directions: When you register for an adventure Outdoor ESCAPES, you will receive directions where qualified guides will meet you at a New Hampshire trailhead or waterway, your lodging, or other public place. Directions will be included in the confirmation packet, along with a list of what to bring to help make your experience an enjoyable one.
