camps, women's weekends, plans international expeditions, and conducts
festivals, too.
Youth
Rock Climbing Camps are held during the summer months with one in
June, two in July, and three in August. These camps are geared to those
aged 9-17 years old and are held outdoors unless there is bad weather
when they use an indoor climbing wall. The camp runs from 9AM - 3 PM
and campers must be able to carry a backpack and wear close-toed shoes
such as sneakers or hiking boots. They also need to bring their own
lunch and water bottle. Wearing long pants (or 3/4 length) is better
than shorts to use a harness. A full day three-day camp is $250 and
a single day program runs $90. There are family climbing programs,
6-day youth overnight camps, and introductory climbing programs. Click
for more detailed info at Youth
Climbing Camps.
